A Turkish adaptation of a framework for evaluating the mathematical quality of instruction

چکیده
A structured assessment tool on the quality of mathematics instruction is considered to be important. It believed that such a could play an important role in providing feedbacks preservice teachers during their trainings as well evaluating in-service teachers’ practices. From this point view, firstly, it has been performed comprehensive examination relevant frameworks developed evaluate instruction. As result, was observed Mathematical Quality Instruction (MQI) framework differed from others with respect both functional and structural features. Within scope study, adaptation MQI Turkish language realized. In characteristics, usage, components theoretical background are shared reader. addition, adapted version performance indicators help potential users were elaborated. Bu türden araç gerek öğretmen yetiştirme sürecinde adaylarına geri dönüt vermek gerekse halen hizmet veren matematik öğretmenlerinin uygulamalarının niteliğini değerlendirerek uygulamaların geliştirilmesine katkıda bulunabilecektir. düşüncelerle öncelikle yapmak için kullanılabilecek çerçevelere kapsamlı tarama yapılmıştır. neticesinde kullanışlılığı ve yapısal özellikleri nedeniyle çerçevesinin diğerlerinden ayrıldığı görülmüştür. makale çalışması kapsamında işlevsel amacıyla geliştirilen ülkemizde kullanılabilmesi Türkçe’ye adaptasyonu gerçekleştirilmiştir. çalışmada söz konusu çerçevenin özellikleri, kullanım şekli, bileşenleri kuramsal arka planı okuyucuyla paylaşılmıştır. Ayrıca yapılan çerçeve paylaşılmış potansiyel kullanıcılara yardımcı olacak performans göstergeleri detaylandırılmıştır.
